Overall Thoughts: For the first time in The Challenge’s short history, the show put together a large cast of 32 All Stars from Real World and Road Rules.

The result was an excellent cast of huge personalities and a fairly dramatic season (by 2002 standards).

While the competition isn’t as intense and the politics aren’t as intricate as the later seasons, Battle of the Seasons still provides great entertainment in both aspects.

• Veronica/Yes getting voted off first in cutthroat fashion
• The hurricane forcing the cast to evacuate
• Jisela freaking out about the threat of alliances on Road Rules
