Host: Mike Mizanin

Aired: 2017–18

Champions: Bananas, CT and Emily

Overall Thoughts: This is a fairly maligned season, and for the most part the criticism is justified.

Champs vs. Stars could rename itself A Series of Unfortunate Events, because it was dampened by several incidents early in the season — Camila getting kicked off for assaulting a member of production, Jenna leaving due to injury, Ashley going home to be with her dying father and Terrell Owens quitting.

Similar to Champs vs. Pros, there wasn’t much drama on the Champs side, and while the Stars did play a very political game, they were way less entertaining than the Pros.

The competition was completely lopsided, as the Champs beat the Stars in all six missions and the final.

However, there are some positives in every Challenge season, and Champs vs. Stars is no exception.

The Miz injected more energy into the show than any host in Challenge history.

The challenges and eliminations were strong across the board.
