Overall Thoughts: Coming off the heels of the biggest season of all time in Rivals, The Challenge followed it up with another classic season.

Battle of the Exes is one of the best competition seasons in Challenge history. Nearly every daily challenge was excellent, the eliminations were solid and the final is my favorite of all time.

While there’s not a ton of drama, it’s the exes theme that makes this season so good. There’s some real unresolved feelings, especially from Abe and Cara (who were still trying to figure out their relationship), Johnny and Camila, and of course CT and Diem.

With excellent competition and interpersonal drama, Exes continued what is in my opinion the peak of the show (from Rivals to Exes II).

• Nate falling a million times in the first challenge
• Wes blowing up his game before the first vote
• Vinny getting himself and Sarah kicked off for pulling Mandi’s top off
