Overall Thoughts: When the cast first leaked for All Stars 4, it looked like this season had the makings of a wild ride. And after having to wait for a year to see it, it did deliver one of the more dramatic seasons in recent history.
The problem was the drama wasn’t remotely fun.
From the unfortunate Ayanna incident (that was mostly edited out of the show), the nauseating Laurel/Nicole relationship, the whole house hating on Cara Maria for seemingly no reason and Kam’s pettiness, plus Adam’s indignant attitude toward Steve after he stole his star, All Stars 4 was a very negative season.
They were able to splash in a little bit of fun with Steve and Ace and with the great music and some of the silliness in the challenges, but I think it masquerades this overall not being a very fun season to watch.
I love drama on The Challenge, but the negativity brought the season down for me. The season was sorely lacking in the fun captured in the earlier All Stars seasons.
