We’re going into the wayback machine to discuss one of the least-talked about great competitors in the history of The Challenge.
One of the top female competitors in the early days of the show, Holly first appeared on the third season of The Challenge, helping Road Rules win six of nine missions, including the final challenge.
She returned on Battle of the Seasons partnered with her Road Rules: Latin America castmate Josh, who came on the season looking like Guy Fieri. Josh wasn’t a bad competitor, but he didn’t stack up to the Road Rules guys like Dan, Theo and Timmy, giving Holly a disadvantage.
The duo performed solidly throughout the season, but could never quite crack into the Inner Circle, hovering around fourth place on Road Rules for most of the season and eventually were the last team eliminated.
Holly closed out her career as one of the leaders on the Road Rules team on The Inferno. She stepped up for nomination in the first Inferno, where she was chosen to face Trishelle in Chili Counter. Although her teammates were worried about losing their perceived best female player, Holly came through and took out Trishelle.
From there, she was never nominated for the Inferno again, reaching the final and winning her second championship.
Holly was arguably the best female competitor of the first eight seasons of the show, but her lack of longevity and her competing in a weaker era holds her down in my rankings.
